Macrame Square Knot

1. Take four sections of cord. You will be working with the outer two cords with the two middle cords staying fixed. Take the outer left cord and create a small loop and place it over the two middle cords. 2. Take the outer right cord and place it over the left cord. 3. Create your knot by taking the right out cord and going under the middle cords and through the loop formed by the outer left cord. 4. Pull and you have the first half of the Square Knot. 5. To make up the second half of the Square Knot you will repeat step 1 to 4 but working in the opposite direction. So start with the outer right cord and create a small loop placing it over the two middle cords. Now take your outer left corad and place it over the right cord. Create your knot by taking the left outer cord and going under the middle cords and through the loop formed by the outer right cord. 6. Keep repeating step 1 to 5 until the wrapped section is your desired lenght. If you forgot which section to start always start on the side with the loop at the top (not with the thread coming out)
