STEP 1 Make up the centre pendant
A Take one 10mm jump ring and close it.
B Take the 15cm length of 24ga wire and fold it in half. Thread the folded end through one 12mm rhinestone bead.
C Create an eye like a needle by separating the middle section. Thread the thread attached to the end of the tassel through the eye and pull the wire and thread back through the bead.
D Now push the folded piece of wire through the flat round Kashmiri style bead. Repeat as step 1C to thread the bead
E Take the closed 10mm jump ring and thread through the end of the tassel and carefully make a knot. Make sure the knot sits above the bead. Glue the knot to secure and trim when dry.
STEP 2 Beaded-Connectors
A Four round Kashmiri beaded-connectors – One 12mm round Kashmiri bead
B Two rhinestone beaded-connectors – One 12mm Pave rhinestone bead
C Eighteen topaz-turquoise beaded-connectors – One 3mm turquoise bead, one 6x8mm topaz crystal rondelle bead and one 3mm turquoise bead.
D Ten topaz-red beaded-connectors: One 4x6mm red crystal rondelle bead, , one 6x8mm topaz crystal rondelle bead and 4x6mm red crystal rondelle bead
E Ten single beaded-connector: One 6x8mm topaz crystal rondelle bead
F Six Turquoise beaded-connectors: One 3x4mm topaz crystal rondelle bead, one 8mm turquoise bead and one 3x4mm topaz crystal rondelle
G Five small beaded-connectors: One 3mm turquoise bead, one 4x6mm red crystal rondelle and one 3mm turquoise bead.
NOTE: Beaded-connectors are created by threading the bead or sequence of beads on a eye pin, then trimming the eye pin 1cm from the last bead. Then take your round-nose pliers and form a loop on the end.
STEP 3 Make up the first beaded necklace strap for the longer necklace by using 6mm jump rings to join up the beaded-connectors from step 2 in the following order: *One topaz-turquoise beaded-connector (step 2C), one topaz-red beaded-connector (step 2D), one topaz-turquoise beaded-connector**, one round Kashmiri beaded-connector (step 2A), repeat from * to **, one rhinestone beaded-connector (step 2B), repeat from * to **, one round Kashmiri beaded-connector, repeat from * to ** twice but on the last repetition omit the last topaz-turquoise beaded-connector. Repeat this step for the second necklace strap.
STEP 4 Take one of the necklace straps from step 3 and using a 6mm jump ring attach to the top ring of the centre tassel pendant (step 1). Repeat this step for the second necklace strap.
STEP 5 Divide the chain into two 14cm sections. Make up the shorter necklace by using 6mm jump rings to join up the beaded-connectors from step 2 in the following order: One 14cm section of chain, five single beaded-connectors (step 2E), *one Turquoise beaded-connector (step 2F), one small beaded-connector (step 2G)**, repeat from * to ** four times, one Turquoise beaded-connector, five single beaded-connectors and the 14cm section of chain.
STEP 6 Take one 6mm jump ring and thread one end of the necklace from step 4 and step 5. Take another 6mm jump ring and thread the previous jump ring and the clasp. Finish by taking one 6mm jump ring and threading the two open ends of the two necklaces. Now take one 10mm jump ring and thread the previous 6mm jump ring.
1. Divide the wire into two 3cm sections.
2. Take one 3cm section of wire and measure 1.5cm and make a right angle. Start to create a wrapped loop by using your round nose pliers to create a loop. Thread the top of the tassel on the loop. Now finish the wrapped loop by wrapping the smaller section of wire on the longer section.
3. On the longer section of wire thread one 4x6mm red crystal rondelle bead and trim the wire 1cm from the bead and create a loop. Gently undo the loop and attach the bottom loop of an eye pin.
4. On the eye pin thread one 12mm round Kashmiri bead and trim the eye pin 1cm from the bead and create a loop. Gently undo the loop and attach the bottom loop of an ear hook.
5. Repeat step 2 to 4 for the second earring
